From the Head of Academics

Every child is unique in talent, aspirations and dreams; at Le Mont High we shall practice as many learning styles as the number of students: All dreams to be fulfilled –all aspirations achieved In an engaging natural environment, away from the pollutions and petty quarrels of the world of this is mine and that that is yours, we shall inculcate the instinct of sharing, laughing and learning in a boundary less environment, where community sharing is a theme.

Thus, the Vision of the school:

The nurturing of a child's academic curiosity and development must be at the centre of what any school seeks to achieve.

We endeavour to provide a depth and breadth of knowledge and understanding and at the same time to prepare students for a world that is ever-changing and increasingly flat. They are up to the challenge. We want students to be a part of the solution, part of changing things for the better, we are more than just a school…we are a place where students will emerge as responsible stewards of our global society and natural environment…

Our educational style is founded on developing character. We encourage our students to become independent, open-minded, self-assured and critical thinkers. Our academic style is based on scientific fact. We give our students the skills, methods and knowledge to help them in their roles as probing thinkers to understand and solve problems.

.We encourage our students to develop a life-long love of learning and a willingness to be responsible for themselves and their environment. Our faculty understand the value of time in and outside the classroom. They are the front line of support in our larger purpose: A highly motivated team of teachers and much attention paid to individual students’ needs contribute to the positive learning experience.

I welcome all the students with an open arm to the all encompassing and encouraging domain of knowledge vista of Le Mont High School.
